Doula Services
Covid 19 information regarding services: I have several options to meet your birth support needs during Covid 19. Our first free consultation can be done via video chat, phone call, or socially distanced in an outdoor setting. Prenatal meetings can be done entirely by video chat, a combination of video and in person, or in person with additional precautions in place. Birth support, while I still highly recommend it be done in person, is currently be offered in the form of live video support as well. Please reach out to me to discuss the best fit for your support during covid!
Labor/Birth doula services include:
*One free consultation. This first meeting typically takes place in your home or a nearby coffee shop/cafe. **Please note during covid 19 I am offering this consult meeting to be done by phone or video chat. In person is still a option with social distancing/mask wearing in a outdoor space. This is a casual meeting to get to know each other, briefly discuss your birthing desires, and ask questions to find if we are a good match for working together.
* Two prenatal visits, each lasting typically around 2 hours. During these visits we may discuss birth plans, comfort measures, relaxation techniques, labor positions, labor preparation and postpartum preparation, as well as anything else clients and partners wish to talk about. **During covid I am offering options for virtual prenatals, combo virtual and in person, or in person with extra safety measures in place.
*Phone, email, and text support throughout your pregnancy.
*Use of my ever growing lending library of books pertaining to pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum, infant care, new fathers/parents, childbirth class, and partner(s) support.
*On call for you 24/7 from 38 weeks of pregnancy through birth.

*If desired I can assist in photographing the labor when my efforts are not needed elsewhere at the moment. I am not a birth photographer and this is optional, but I am willing to take some extra photographs during labor.
*One postpartum visit (different then postpartum doula services) to see how you are doing, how baby and family are doing, help process the birth experience, answer questions and provide information as needed. **In person or virtual during covid
*Additional prenatal or postpartum visits can be added for a hourly fee.
